The Bunny is poorly

It's been a long night. I think I will always be amazed by how fast a kid can go from charging round the house causing mayhem to sick as a dog and back again. At 5 the Bunny was charging about and annoying (or being annoyed by) her brother. Come six she didn't want her tea and was running a fever. 8 oclock he was changing the bed and clearing up while I comforted Bunny (there are some things I don't do unless I have to). five minutes later she was asleep and slept till half three when she woke me running to the bathroom. catnapped till six and now she's sitting in bed watching tv and complaining that I won't let her get up.

Her brother, on the other hand, needed dire threats and main force to get him out the door to school 'cos he couldn't see why she got to stay home and he didn't. I expect the same tomorrow since she's still running hot and I'm not sending her back untill she's fit and eating properly again so it's a 2 day break for her at least.

At least the cat is happy. people sitting still where he lie next to them is always good as far as he's concerned. People with fevers are even better.

I want to come back as a pampered house cat.
