Winter is here I think

Today has been cold and damp enough to fire up the heating for the first time since before Easter so I am declaring this the first day of winter. Only had it on for half an hour but it made all the differance to my knees while i did the ironing and watched trashy TV. (Reality TV channel, the perfect ironing companion. Just put your brain in park and go.)
