Mungo update 2

Well the first set of blood results are back and he's showing elevated blood sugar and cholesterol so they now need a urine sample. We've cleaned out the cat tray, put in a fresh plastic liner along with the little plastic balls the vets gave us for him to pee in and the little sods taken one look at that and went and peed in the flower bed. This could take a while....

You've locked the cat-flap, yes? And shut him in the kitchen/cellar with the tray?

Problem with the celler is he'll just go and use the unpaved part under the kitchen. Plenty of nice dry dirt there.

Damn. Put aluminium foil down on the unpaved part? A lot of cats don't like the feel of that stuff under their paws ...

(Yell at me if the suggestions are annoying rather than useful, OK?)

Take a lot of foil to cover an area the size of our kitchen. A sheet of hardboard and a pile of boxes on the entrance to that bit is worth trying though. What I should have done is lock him in the kitchen with the tray while I was out shopping this morning. Probably try that while getting haircuts tomorrow.

Keep it up with the suggestions, this one was the spark that made me think of the hardboard.

This is why Londo ends up locked in the bathroom with the litter tray until she co-operates. Good luck!
