A moment of beauty

Where I live counts as inner city and a majority of the roads between my place and the main shopping parade are terraces with small drying yards at the back yet I have just spent ten minutes watching a Red Kite wheeling in the sky over them as I walked home from looking for a new hall carpet.

Life finds a way and this one must have found his way from the Harewood estate. Plenty of pigeons round here so I hope he likes his new digs.
