Scrape back and repair time. Do any other crafters get the feeling a project is actually fighting them or it it just deadline paranoia.

And five minutes later I knocked over the jar of thinners right next to the headpiece I just painted.

Repainted the scraped bits and it's looking a little better. So long as the paint is dry before packing I can always do final assembly at the con. Wouldn't be the first time after all.(grin).
