Todays job is going round the house with a loo roll and a paper knife stopping up all the cracks in the windows.  I tried masking tape one year but that just left too much residue on the woodwork when it was taken off in the spring.  The same goes for that secondary glazing you can get which is basically polythene sheets stuck to the windows then warmed to make it tight.

I think we may have some snow soon looking at the colour of that sky.

apparently they had sleety snow in Telford, Shropshire yesterday.

Still a bit mild up here in the Lothians - except for Penicuik, which has its own weather system ;-)

We had snowy sleet while driving home on the M25 Sunday night - it was most unpleasant to drive in, but at least it didn't settle.

It was snowing in central London on the way back from rehearsal last night - I thought the raindrops looked suspiciously solid on the way from Valerie's to Waterloo, and by the time we got to Camden Town, it was definitely snowy wet sleet. I dropped Matt off at East Finchley and it looked more like a blizzard in the street lights by then! Of course, it was far too wet to settle.
