Hal has managed to get silly putty all over the sofa, cushions and throw blanket.  Any ideas how to get it off before I kill him?  Currently trying putting the blanket and cushion cover in the freezer to see if it acts like gum.

Whack it with a hammer and catch the chippings? Freezer sounds good.
