World Turtle Day
Today is World Turtle Day and Jodie has deciced that she is going to hold a celebration for her toy turtles.

She's off school today as it's a teacher training day and so I'm surrounded by plush, plastic and paper turtles. She wants to make gingerbread turtles this afternoon. It was going to be this morning but the cat coughed a giant hairball in the middle of the kitchen floor so I decided that it was the perfect time to wash the floor. Gets me a little breathing space... May go to Tropical World to see some real turtles and terrapins.
