I went through the same learning procedure last week when uploading that picture of Helsinki railway station.

Yup, that works. You even got it to do thumbnail sized pictures so it doesn't overwhelm the 'friends' page.

Though I got it to work once, and then when I tried again I couldn't - and it's too low a priority to have dealt with again yet. I'll get round to it again at some point, but meantime it's definitely a factor in not bothering to post to DW.

I really do like LJ better than DW. Sigh.

It does seem to be unnecessarily complicated. I'm trying to post more on DW because quite a few of my list seem to have left LJ completely but it would be good if I could do it with the same ease.

I just link photos from flickr. I did have photos on LJ's photo-hosting service, but I rather suspect they were all uploaded to there from flickr anyway.

Thay're about a year and a half now so probably full size. Chewie has filled out a lot recently and has turned into quite the bruiser.
