A sudden thought about the riots

A few years back Charlie Stross posted on his open journal an entry about the upcoming Olympics and thoughts for demonstration events for the local flavour. I wonder whether the recent events can be considered the practice run for The Ned Olympics?

Off to Chapeltown Carnival now. The oldest West Indian carnival in Europe (Notting Hill was started by a bunch of hippies). Curried Goat!!!
