Well I now have the house back to myself as the snow has melted enough to get both the kids back to school, I have a new computer and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
murphys_lawyer has managed to get my old drive mounted and running XP with all my old data in it as well being able to run the new drive with Windows7 and I can finally get started on the SAMs. One small annoyance is I forgot to transfer the bookmarks I made last week while looking for reference material but that's just a small bit of redoing that may actually be worth while since this machine is a lot faster than the reserve legacy gaming one I've been using and so I can search without spending time waiting for stuff to load like the bad old days of dialup. I still need to sort out a new mouse and keyboard as the old ones don't work with the new box and I've had to dig out some other not as comfortable ones but that is a small matter easily solved.
