We finally got into the storage unit yesterday and extracted the six boxes of books still remaining from Mothers library. Not too bad condition since they've been in there for over seven years, just a few bent where they'd not been packled properly and been a little crushed. this has now been whittled down to two and a half boxes of 'non genre so where do we put it', another box load to be disposed of either at Novacon or before and three foot of new stuff to be shelved including very nice first editions of Last Men In London and Prisoner Of Fire.
Current job in to put together a Googledocs spreadsheet of what is up for grabs. A link to that will be posted both here and in
murphys_lawyer's LJ once he's finished putting it together.
Next comes the long job of feeding the lot into Library Thing which may take some time even with a bar code scanner (looks at 1927 edition of Dracula).
